Well, we waited in vain for the tv dude and his Brazilian client today, but alas, they didn't show so we had to just do the hike without them. We had a lovely day, and although I found it very challenging - 12.something kilometers with some significant up and down - the biggest trip yet with my 35-lb-pack, and although I toyed with the idea of jettisoning some of my water weight before the end, I persevered and finished the trip with all the weight. I struggled physically today, but the weather was perfect, and the company was really great! Thanks to Anna for keeping me company in the back of the pack and complaining with me about all the @#!**&@$# hills! :) -- Rhonda |
