In spite of losing our "fast group" (or should we call them our "directionally challenged group"???) early in the day, we had a fabulous time. The weather was awesome, and the hike was amazing. Mountains, rockfalls, waterfalls, moss... this one has it all. Too bad the "fast group" missed it, although it sounds like they had their own wonderful adventure heading, we believe, in towards The Forks. Once they realized their mistake, they turned around and headed back to the parking lot, and did a bit of a side jaunt along the lakeshore looking for us. We arrived about 45 minutes later and we were all happily reunited... except for Jillian and Catherine who'd met us at trailhead and headed out before we returned. Happy trails, -- Rhonda |
