Yarrr, mateys, 'twas a fine day for pillaging and plundering on the Bow River. Wars were waged, booty scored and havoc wreaked. We had a perfect day in amongst the relentless rain, hail and snow of late, and many fine fine themed pirate boats. It's hard to say which boat was best this year because they were all amazing - themes, costumes, props. We have photographic evidence of two minor injuries involving blood. Yarrrrr! Good thing there's no crying in pirates! Sadly, I won't say "see you all next year" as this is the last time that Marc and I will be hosting pirates. If you're interested in helping with a future event, please contact me and I will try to connect those folks who are interested.
