The Yamnuska Scree Run is one of my personal favorite trips, and it is doubly fun to share it with people who've never done it before (but are adventurous enough to try). We had a glorious day, in spite of driving through a blizzard on the way out, and a bit of ice and snow on the trail, but the conditions, over all, were fantastic for this outing. We trudged up the total 700m (including ups and downs), even though I thought the trip was only 300-400m gain total (oops). Then, across the front of the cliff, including the scary clay part that wasn't really all that scary. I heard, a couple of times (cheers, Niti), "Do we go down here?" before it was time, and once I'd located our proper path, and said, "Here's where we go down", her response was "But it's so steep!". A few charged down the hill (mostly those of us with experience), and Krystian had an amazing run down (video at www.youtube.com/watch?v=j_OC_fHzO3s). Several others took the more cautious "walking" approach, but everyone seemed to have a wonderful scree-ming adventure.

Thanks to all who came out!
