Notes Actions
Here's a chance to express your unique perspective on your favourite literary piece. Everyone will have 10 minutes to read an excerpt from one (or two) of their favorite works and discuss why it's a favourite.

Any genre is acceptable from sci-fi short stories to classical poetry. If your piece is in a foreign language please be prepared to translate.

You will be required to provide the name of the piece and author at least 2 days before the event so that we can prepare an itinerary for the evening.

As a bonus, we will also be including a book swap. If you wish to participate in this part please bring a book (or books) that you are ready to part with as this will be a permanent swap.

From sublimal erotica to talking alien cats, ancient math discoveries to modern local poetry and, of course, the spiritual life of moles; we covered it all!

The small group size made the atmosphere very warm, inviting and comforting to the nerves when reading aloud. The discussions were entertaining and productive and we even dressed a cat!

Discussions were also held as to what book choices people were considering for the next event. And believe me, there will be another! So come on out and join us for the next one.
