This is actually the Black Diamond festival but the point of going is to listen to a great folk/blues band called "No Guff". 3pm - hang around main street (local buskers performing, craft area, food, beer gardens)
8pm - No Guff takes the stage, other bands to follow, closing with The Rembetika Hipsters 11pm - Canada Day fireworks If not carpooling, meet at the Wild Horse Bistro at 3:15. Please note that No Guff is actually playing at 8pm rather than 5 o'clock, as was in orginal details |

If it wasn't mosquitos, it was pouring rain trying to dampin our spirits. The crazy thing was the storm cloud was directly above us with clear skies on every side! One storm would blow over, the mosquitos would come out then another storm would blow in - at least there were no mosquitos when it rained!!! Despite all of this, a good time was had by all exploring the town of Black Diamond and listening to the music. No Guff put on a great performance and the Rembetika Hipsters managed to get everyone up dancing to their greek style music. |
