WOW! So many different types of pianos and organs. The collection includes a sample of the first pianos up to modern pianos. Our interpreter provided information on the history of the instruments and what factors affected how/why they were built. The Kimball Theatre Organ was by far the most impressive instrument while the Theremin was the most fun to play - it uses the electrical energy in your body to produce sounds not unlike what you might hear in a science fiction movie. |
