A Walk on the Wild Side
This morning we walked into Port Elizabeth and then took a taxi to the far south end of the island. It’s the ‘country’ where there’s nothing but plantations, farms, wind… and rich people. After the taxi dropped us, we walked back to Port Elizabeth, then to Lower Bay, stopping at Maranne’s for homemade ice cream (I had ginger sorbet and Brent had mango frozen yogurt), and then for a ‘cheapest beer on the beach’. |
