We woke up to a balloon over the campingplatz this morning
We started the day with a baguette, since Brent has gotten the words croissant and baguette mixed up in his head and ordered us three baguettes (instead of croissants). Oops. But the baguettes were very good.

We had another great day of riding through the Burgundy countryside today. Endless vineyards, now with leaves on them (instead of just sticks like at the start of our trip). It was a busy day on the vineyards - lots and lots of vehicles, farm equipment and workers. At one point I had a really cool yellow spider come sit on my bike for a visit.
The plan for Laura’s portion of this tour was to go through the Alps - Switzerland and Austria, and have a visit to Innsbruck. None of that is happening. The weather forecast for our dates looked awful so we changed direction and headed into France. We’re having a great time, but it’s not what Laura came here for.

One thing that she did ask for is to go to Dijon. She is a mustard fanatic so it seems like the thing to do. Today was Dijon Day and it was fantastic! Laura wanted to see Palais des Ducs, Rue des Forges, Église Notre Dame and Église Saint-Michel. We saw all those things and more. Laura found le Moutarderie. Dijon has an AMAZING Altstadt and I am an Altstadt junkie so it was a great day.
