Arrived at Sturgeon at 6AM. Came out of surgery with zero breasts and four drains. Minimal pain – managed with ibuprofen and acetaminophen. Home by 16:00-ish |

I’m out of surgery. Have to wait about two hours for the all clear to leave. Four drains. Yuk!! Q from Kim: How's the pain? Is the medication working well? Rhonda: pain is minimal. I’m managing with ibuprofen and acetaminophen. No prescription pain killers needed. Yay! Kim: wow, you really are amazing. You're my hero. Rhonda: I'm no hero. I just come from a family with addiction problems and I'm more afraid of addiction than I am of some pain. |
