Hemoglobin today was 89, which is higher than before but still much lower than the normal range of 120-160. Lovely NP says it can take months of iron supplementation to bring it back up after chemo ends. Continue taking the iron supplements until I've reached 90-days.
If I experience any delayed neuropathy I should contact Lovely NP Around the end of Herceptin, Lovely NP wants to put me on a bone-strengthening drug, which, unfortunately weakens jaw muscles. She will give me a form to take to my periodontist appointment in January to get "approved" for taking this drug. Q: Plan for port removal: Have it removed ASAP after last infusion Q: Plan for future monitoring/scans: They don't do regular scans after treatment. GP will be responsible for requesting scans if any problems/symptoms arise. S: Told Lovely NP that I plan to continue taking Berberine Q: When to stop taking Bisoprolol: Continue to take it for three months after last Herceptin infusion. Q: How can I be Stage 1B when I have a lymph node involved? All parameters of original tumor and lymph node tumor entered into a program which calculates the stage. |
