Did someone say it's supposed to be spring? In spite of the snow, this was a really nice, albeit short, hike. We weren't able to do the complete loop because of water - we went one way, and eventually turned back because the creek had overflowed its banks and we had no way across. When we got back to the trail head, we tried going the other way, and turned back because the trail became a weird smooshy half-frozen lake. So, we ended up hiking for only an hour or an hour and a half, and then went and rewarded ourselves with a feast of Greek food at Mega restaurant in Cochrane. |
