You know that voice... that little voice in your head that says "Hey, this hike sounds cool, except... I've been in this area for a long time and have never heard of it before, so maybe it just sounds cool and it's actually kinda lame..."? Listen to that voice! Of course, any day hiking beats the best day in the office, so I'm still glad we went, but I won't bother with this hike again. The sand forest was neat, but just. At least we didn't get rained on... oh wait - we got hailed on! D'oh! Oh well, you don't know if you don't try, right? -- Rhonda |
