Well, let me just say that 5:30 PM at Marathon DOES NOT WORK, even with a reservation. I've known that Marathon doesn't always open on time, but I guess I assumed that with a reservation for 8 people AT 5:30 they would make an effort. Nope. With a group of people still standing around on the sidewalk at 5:45, we decided to walk down to have dinner at Blue Nile instead. We left a note on the outdoor menu at Marathon for the three who had yet to arrive; one of them saw it and found us, while the other two were left to wonder what happened. My sincere apologies to them. Dinner at Blue Nile was fantastic, though!! I really needed that! -- Rhonda |
