Poor, poor Joel... he missed a great show (sent out of town to deliver a training course). What I kept forgetting was that the Polyjesters (also a fave) were the opening act, so I fully expected to die last night, since my life would be complete seeing the Polys and the Worms all in one day. It didn't happen, apparently, since I'm alive to write this summary. The show was terrific. I've seen both groups several times, but it's never boring. I've probably seen the Worms over ten times, and some of the "oldies" are becoming rote for me but they played a lot of new stuff so I wasn't bored, and it was really GOOD new stuff, too (I ran right out and bought "Beige", the new album). But, even for the familiar stuff, I was happy since I was sharing it with some people who'd never seen them before.
