What a fantastic time and a fantastic show! In spite of being thrown into the "fray" of hanging with three people he'd never met before, and who all know each other well, Todd held up great, even getting in on the "fun" of picking on *me* all weekend. He is definitely invited to attend any/all of my events in the future. Stomp was spellbinding... a fantastic show, for me, having seen it for my fourth time, and for the others, all seeing it for their first times. A must-see/experience for anyone who likes dance, percussion, comedy, or lively entertainment of any sort. After the show, we went for dinner at The Keg, The Olive Garden, The Outback, and The Keg. OK, we really only ate at the second Keg, where Steph contributed her $100 Keg gift certificate to the bill (thanks Steph!). We left the other three places because Joel was recognized as having been banned from them all during his misspent youth... ok, really we left because they all had an hour-long wait for a table. Still brimming with generosity, Steph donated her couches and a mattress on the floor, to us to stay over Saturday night before a fantastic breakfast at "Barb and Ernie's" in Edmonton before returning from whence we came. Joel bonded with Tommy the Turtle, Todd bonded with my blue furry coat, and a good time was had by all. -- Rhonda |
