A fantastic day, and a wonderful mild winter hike. There was a fair amount of fog, so the views were lacking (this seems to happen to me on this hike a lot). Ed's GPS confirmed that we gained 540m of elevation over the 3.5km in, which is good, because there was some question about whether it was that much, or whether it was more like 300. It FEELS like 540, so I was glad to find out it was!

Good luck to John (and Janet, of course) in Ottawa. Hopefully they'll come back for visits and hikes, and if not, maybe they'll start an OOC. Hint hint.
