COC - Ice Skating - Bowness Lagoon

Today ended up being a perfect winter day to be outdoors. The ice is pretty bumpy at Bowness lagoon right now - too bad because it's a great place for outdoor skating. Lots of "limbo" practice, acrobatic skating, and mini-lessons happening throughout the afternoon. A great group and enjoyable afternoon. - Marg
CCC - Anniversary Party and AGM

The CCC's first year anniversary and Annual General Meeting. We will have some brief presentations and announcements, but for the most part this is a casual evening of socializing and learning more about our great club as it moves into its second year.

Schedule:
6PM - Volunteers set up as required
7PM - Event starts, arrive, grab a drink
8PM - Presentations and announcements
9PM - Party!

There will be a cash bar and appetizers and pizza will be available from the menu. Note that all attendees MUST be 18+ (no exceptions due to serving of alcohol and VLT's in the bar area [even if the vlt's are turned off])

Anyone wishing to make a donation to the club for 2007 please see me (Rhonda) at the event. Our voluntary donations (max $20/year/ea) will be re-set at the end of 2006. We thank you for your support in 2006 and hope to see you out more in 2007.

Many thanks to Ryan for arranging the venue (which was fantastic), Marc for being our MC (fabulous) and Joel for doing the equipment for the slide movie and the music (excellent)! All Alissa and I had to do this evening was show up - how great is that! :)
