We strained (without exceeding) the capacity of my apartment this evening as thirteen of us gathered to try some different beers and munchies. Lots of interesting beers, including lots I hadn't tried before. None were yukky, but none really jumped out at me as new potential favorites, either. The most interesting was the wraspberry beer... I think that one would be an acquired taste. Ken was the only one who brought ribs, and they were from one of his favorite places in Chinatown. Those, and the brie/portobello pizza seemed to be the most popular food items. A couple of highlights of the evening for me were when a few people decided to try on my Vegas showgirl feather hat, and when Ken tried to read John's mind. Too funny.
