Heart Creek

Our Valentine's Day "pilgrimmage" to Heart Creek... a fantastic day. Temps were cool, but so far we haven't gotten the snow and/or rain that was promised. Ian was gimpy with his recently dislocated (and then re-located) shoulder but he didn't let it slow him down (he just needed help tying his shoes). Ed had chocolate hearts for all the women (and Ian), and Lana handed out love hearts, although Suzanne took a miss because she was holding out for the one that said "great sex" on it. We didn't find one of those. We had a fantastic adventure finding Marko's unofficial trail after the end of the Heart Creek trail, and a couple of us (who shall remain nameless) got a bit of adventure on our pants from a couple of "sliding on our bums" incidents. We enjoyed lunch right at the top of the falls that I've only heard before but never seen.

Screw Valentine's Party

What can I say... Ian is a FANTASTIC party host. This party was so much better having been moved to his place than it would have been if we'd kept it at my apartment. Ian and The Brad proudly found the route to every woman's heart - CHOCOLATE FOUNTAIN. Lots of good conversation with interesting people, and towards the end of the evening, we played with his dancing game (the pad with the arrows that have to be stepped on in the correct sequence on time to the music).
