The other people on this hike seemed to really enjoy it, which is great! As for me, not so much. It did have some moments, certainly. I enjoyed the rock slopes, and the wildflowers were amazing. The hike was way too long, though, for my liking - 23/24kms. I rarely do above 14 kilometers, and when I do, by gum... it had better be spectacular! I would do this hike again, happily, if it were half the distance, but for that kind of distance, since it didn't absolutely 'wow' me, the chances are slim to none that I will ever bother with it again. Oh well, live and learn (this was a new hike for me)... the weather was nice, no one got hurt, we were out in the mountains, and Lila and Mieke amused us greatly with their efforts to continue WALKING after the end of the hike (while we were at Louise enjoying a hard-earned ice cream cone).

"Farewell" to Jak who is on her way back to Toronto tomorrow, and to Steven who I will see next in Atlanta.
