This was a fantastic hike, a beautiful day, and a great group! As promised, most of the elevation is gained in one section of treacherous loose rock, but we trudged our way up, were awed by the canon, then fumbled our way back down and had refreshments in Canmore so Craig from Rocky Mountain House could join us for once.

I would highly recommend this hike, but be prepared - sturdy hiking boots and poles are very very good things to have for the day.
