COC - Prairie Mountain Prairie Mountain is a good old friend. A great, short, close-to-town, workout slog up a steep-but-not-quite-too-steep hill with a fantastic view from the top of Nihahi Ridge (and other lovelies) to the west, Moose Mountain to the north, and Calgary to the east. CCC - Music Appreciation Night - ANGRY MUSIC Theme
Arrive at 7PM for introductions and to get settled in. We'll start listening to the music selections at 7:30 (sorry, but to avoid interruption if you are later than 7:30, the door buzzer will be shut off and you won't be able to get in). We should have approximately 80 minutes of music (8 people times ten minutes of music). After we listen, we discuss! :) My apartment is small, and the atmosphere casual. We'll be sitting or laying around the living room while we listen. Bring a pillow or cushion if you like for maximum comfiness. Everyone must contribute 6-10 minutes of music for the evening (See "Required Items to Bring" below). The Theme for this music appreciation night is ANGRY MUSIC. I'm not going to provide any further guidance on what that means... that is up to you. I only have room in my apt for 8 bodies, and room on an 80-min CD for 8 ten-minute selections, so please sign up for this get-together ONLY if you're serious about contributing some music selections, and attending the get-together.
